Safety and A. Martini & Company
A well-run and well-maintained project is a safe project. Safety requires that all good housekeeping rules are mandated and observed and that violations, however minor, are immediately identified and rectified.
A. Martini & Co.'s Safety Director, Fred Swearingen, Jr., offers 11 years of experience overseeing safety programs at construction sites. For each project, Fred visits the site approximately every two weeks. A. Martini & Co. also reviews safety concerns and issues at its weekly Toolbox Safety Meeting that is held at the site. All personnel and subcontractors are required to attend this meeting.
Since safety is a company-wide issue, as well as a site issue, A. Martini & Co. created a Safety Program Incentive for all of its employees. This program rewards individual workers who work accident-free for specific time periods (30, 60, 90 days, etc.).
